1 ½” To 2 ½” Crushed Stone
This type of stone is referred to as #2 crushed stone, has been crushed as aggregate size, screened with a 3” square screen, and is 1 ½ to 2 ½ inches. Crushed stone can be used for limestone, gneiss, granite, and trap rock. A final product is achieved once the stone has been crushed and sized.
Construction Aggregate
Crushed stone is supplied by Re-Agg to be used as construction aggregate. This is for asphalt and concrete in highways, and road construction. Crushed stone is additionally used for lime, agricultural limestone, riprap, filter stone, railroad ballast, and Portland cement. The Uses for 2 ½” Crushed Stone
This is used for the exits and entrances for construction sites, dry wells, systems for storm water management, road base, septic systems, drainage solutions, walkways, and driveway gravel. Rail Road ballast and road base are the main users of aggregate without binders. Aggregates with binders are used for nonresidential and residential construction repair, and asphalt and cement in road and highway construction.
